Likhubula Youth Organization {LIYO} is a development–orientated, youth and Community Based Organization {CBO} which is situated in Mandala Village T/A Chikowi, Zomba District in Malawi. The organization was founded on 10 may 2002, with the aim to improve the standard of living through volunteering within the community and to address the issues which are affecting the youth, orphans, people living with HIV/AIDS and disabilities, chronically ill and poor. So far the impact in the community is high, because from 2011-2012 we manage to improve the living standard and promote the lives of people who are vulnerable and people in need.

We managed to support 870 young people with school materials
We managed to distribute sporting materials to the youth from 12 community
We managed to support and care 363 aged in domestic work
We managed to build 67 houses and renovation 161 houses to people living with HIV/AIDS and disabilities, aged and orphans
We managed the opening and facilitating of 12 youth clubs
Construction of 6 CBCC / nursery school
Conduct HIV-counseling group therapy
